Turkey September 2012
4 swedish and 2 danish birders together with the guide David from Scanbird went to Turkey for a week. From Istanbul we drove south to Bursa where we were birdning in the surroundings for two days. Then we went back to Istanbul to see the raptor migration. We saw 138 species, 8 were lifers. The best was the number of eagles from a hill outside Istanbul, we had two days with more than 1600 Lesser Spotted Eagles. Most suprising was the Saker close to the coast of the Black See. I had just a simple camera with a small tele lens, that´s why I only got few photos.
