Spain April 2015
21 swedish birders and the guide Björn from Scanbird went to the region Extremadura during one week. We visited Monfrague National Park, the towns Caceres and Trujillo with surroundings and finished the tour with two days in the Gredos Mountains. We were birdning (mostly) but were also looking för orchids and had interesting townguidings in the two cities. We had really good food with excellent wines. I saw 146 species of birds, 14 were lifers. The top birds were great and little bustard, spanish imperial eagle and the nesting lesser kestrels at the bullfighting arena in Trujillo.
