New Jersey September 2015
6 birders, 4 from Sweden and 2 from Åland, and the guide Magnus from Avifauna went to Cape May in New Jesey,USA. We stayed all 11 nights in a hotel in the city of North Wildwood. The migartion at Cape May of passerines and raptors was the main target but we visited other birdning sites nearby. We also went to Delaware by the ferry and visited some good sites for shorebirds. The winds during the time was not favorable for the wood warblers but we did get 13 species of them. I saw a total of 147 species, 102 lifers. Top birds were Bald Eagles of many different ages and the woodwarblers.
