Ecuador February 2022
My first trip abroad after Peru in 2019 also went to South America, it was a photo tour to Ecuador with Anders from Fågelguidning as tour guide and two local guides. We were 6 participants from Sweden and one from Denmark. It was a different trip for me, the priority was to shoot beautiful birds on nice branches against a nice background. Photo with flash was new to me and sometimes we had 4 flashes around a beautiful flower and then the flashes were triggered from a transmitter on my camera when a hummingbird flew up to the flower. Although we spent a lot of time at different bird feeders, there was quite a bit of walking and in total I found 215 species of which 83 were lifers.
