Morocco February 2014
My first visit in Africa. During a week 12 swedish birders and the the guide Björn from Scanbird went to Morocco. We flew to Marrakesh, drove upp into the Atlas mountains, then along the coast to Sida Ifni and visited the desert east and south of Guelmin. Finally we left Morocco from Agadir. I got 42 lifers and saw a total of 169 birds.
The top bird was of course the Northern Bald Ibis, we saw a flock of 100, a big part of the world population which is about 500.
Other top birds were the Sylvia-warblers and the larks.
